LIU, Choral conductor, Tenor, Composer, and Music Education Worker
劉 毅
合唱指揮、男高音、作曲及音樂教育工作者。
1995年生長於臺南，喜愛音樂，熱愛歌唱。國立臺灣師範大學音樂系碩士主修合唱指揮，師事翁佳芬博士；國立臺南大學音樂系主修聲樂，師事王志成教授。曾受Kurt Suttner、Alicia Walker、Mark Carpio、Jonathan Velasco、Martin Schebesta、Jahja Lin、Gábor Hollerung 等指揮大師指導。
自幼熱愛歌唱,從小學開始參加合唱團至今。高中就讀臺南市長榮中學，並參加由李瑪寶老師指揮的「長榮中學合唱團」，在其中深受感動，進而報考音樂系，並踏上音樂專業之路。
曾任和平高中國中部合唱團指揮、臺南大學音樂系合唱團指揮、嘉義大學嵐韻合唱團指揮、新竹科學園區合唱團客席指揮、高雄室內合唱團助理指揮、采韻之丘室內合唱團助理指揮、台北室內合唱團助理指揮；現任教於臺南市歸仁國小，並擔任成杏合唱團指揮、微人聲樂集音樂總監。
除聲樂指導及指揮外也踏足作曲，近期於2020及2022年獲第二、三屆音為愛合唱獨唱詞曲創作比賽童聲組特優及同聲組優勝。曾受愛唱歌手、微行星男聲、新竹高中、夢蓮花、五十蘭、東吳校友、台北室內婦女、采韻之丘室內合唱團及中部合唱中心等邀請委託創作及編曲。
2020年與同為音樂工作者的好友們—蘇屹、黃湘君及視覺設計工作者－何威廷，共同創立「人聲製研所」，提供各式與人聲相關之講座、出版音樂作品、創作等等，努力開發、拓展臺灣合唱環境。
LIU, Yi
Liu Yi is a choir conductor, tenor, composer, and music educator.
Liu born in 1995 at Tainan, Taiwan. He holds a master's degree in choral conducting from National Normal University, under famous Taiwanese female conductor, Dr. Weng Chiafen, and a bachelor's degree in vocal music from National of Tainan. He also has received guidance from renowned conductors such as Kurt Suttner, Alicia Walker, Mark Carpio, Jonathan Velasco, Martin Schebesta, Jahja Lin, and Gábor Hollerung.
Liu has been passionate about singing since childhood and has been a member of choirs since elementary school. He attended Chang-Jung Senior High School in Tainan, where he joined the school choir under the direction of Teacher Lee Ma-Pao. He was deeply moved by the choir experience and decided to major in music, embarking on a career in music.
Liu has served as a conductor or assistant conductor for various choirs, including the junior high section of He-Ping High School Choir, National University of Tainan Music Departmant Choir, Chia-Yi University Lan-Yun Choir, Hsinchu Science Park Choir, Kaohsiung Chamber Choir, Tsai Yun-Zhi-Qiu Chamber Choir, and Taipei Chamber Singers. Currently, he teaches at Gui-Ren Elementary School in Tainan and serves as the conductor for NCKU Medicine Cheng Xing Choir and the music director for Bi Vocal Ensemble.
In addition to vocal coaching and conducting, Liu has also ventured into composition and recently won special awards in the children's choir and mixed choir categories at the 2nd and 3rd Music for Love Choral Solo and Composition Competition in 2020 and 2022. He has been commissioned to compose and arrange music by various groups, including Love Singers, Microcosmos Men's Choir, Hsinchu High School, Dream Lotus, Fifty Orchids, Soochow University Alumni, Taipei Chamber Women's Choir, Tsai Yun-Zhi-Qiu Chamber Choir, and Chorus Taiwan.
In 2020, together with friends SU i, and HUANG Hisang-Chun who are also music workers , we founded the "Voice Lab Taiwan" to provide various courses related to human voice, publish music works, and commitions, etc., in an effort to develop and expand the Taiwanese choral environment.
